The problem

Not seeing the desired results from their marketing efforts after the pandemic.
Erland Shulze, development director of Hope House Austin reached out for help as they were facing challenges with raising awareness and raising funds, particularly with the millennial generation.

The solution

Collaboratively, we were able to establish the connection between Hope House and potential support networks helping to:
  • Develop a distinctive position through understanding the essence of Hope House
  • Increase awareness of their organization by identifying local services sharing similar values.
  • Enhance their brand experience to render their message more compelling.
  • Build a more substantial online presence through their messaging.
  • Establish deeper connections within local churches and schools.
  • Explore avenues to showcase the impact, rather than merely articulating it.

The Position

Through developing the position, this gave Hope House Austin the boundaries of expressing:
  • The lack of specialized care in the foster care system for highly disabled children
  • A sense of neglect from state institutions, where disabled kids are often forced
  • The opportunity for residents to foster relationships with others their age
  • The ultimate benefit of belonging, stability and growth
  • A dramatic increase in the overall cost of living

Hope House Austin provides a home for life for highly disabled foster children, ensuring 24/7 care and companionship in a place where residents gather as a family unit and are tucked into bed each night.

Why? Because fostering a sense of belonging has the power to heal the wounds of neglect and unlock opportunities for our residents to achieve things perceived as impossible

The Impact

Within a few months Hope House Austin started seeing a positive impact on our strategic positioning efforts, and were able to witness:
  • A more significant online presence
  • A steady increase in online donations allowing the organization to build on this momentum
  • New donors joining their cause
  • Positive feedback from local churches
  • Excitement within the organization in spreading their message to new audiences

There's No Place Like Hope House Austin.
